President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and his wife, Jill Biden, attend the inaugural prayer service at Washington National Cathedral in Washington.
According to the Associated Press: “First lady Michelle Obama chose a white chiffon one-shoulder gown for a series of balls celebrating the inauguration of her husband.
At the Neighborhood Ball at Washington’s Convention Center, President Barack Obama, said: “First of all, how good-looking is my wife?”
Her full-skirted dress had a strap across her right shoulder, a ruched bodice, fluffy appliques and sparkly beading. Mrs. Obama is wearing a Jason Wu gown this evening, which per tradition, will be donated to the Smithsonian.”
First Lady Michelle Obama’s outfit was the handiwork of Cuban-born American designer Isabel Toledo. Obama paired the lemongrass yellow sheath dress and matching jacket with a diamond necklace, J. Crew gloves, and Jimmy Choo pumps.
